I have a recipe here for two pumpkin pies to chow down on with your family and friends. This recipe is actually from my grandmother (Grandmama). The recipe was passed down to my mom and was then passed down to me. We make these pies for either Thanksgiving or Christmas, and they are awesome every single time. Ingredients:

2 frozen deep dish pie crusts

1 can pumpkin puree
1 pint Half&Half
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup white sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. ground cloves

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Thaw the pie crusts while preparing the filling. Heat the half & half until it bubbles in a saucepan. Mix the eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt together. Next, stir in pumpkin puree. After that, slowly add the heated half & half to the filling. Then pour the filling into the pie crusts. Bake for 10 minutes. Turn the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for another 35-40 minutes. Finally, pull out your pies to cool down and serve.
